Pair of great JBL MR 835 PA speakers, Vintage early 1990\'s, Made in California, USA.

PRO quality JBL passive PA speakers.

Each cabinet is rated at 1000W peak.These are TRUE 3-way speakers, each cabinet has:15\" woofer, 8\" mid, and 6 x 12\" horn.For the best sound, 3-way speakers give you the most balance, fidelity, clarity, and are ideal formusic with vocals.Most of the the human voice is mid-range, and mostof the human ear, hears the mid range first.

These speakers give you clear, high-quality vocalplay back, with great vocal reproduction, that\'s why I used them to playrecorded music with vocals.

There are not many 3-way speakers on the marketthese days......most new speakers are 2-way, with emphasis on thumping bass,and highs.

If you want FULL sound with full fidelity, thesevintage 3-way JBL speakers will blow away most new 2-way speakers!

These are GREAT pro audio speakers for bands thatwant vocal clarity, and depth in the music mix.I have used these JBL speakers indoors andoutdoors.
Used them at small venues, and large events. And I always got compliments on the sound qualityof my JBL speakers!

These are large and heavy speakers. But that\'s why they sound so great.These speakers have ALWAYS been stored in myheated garage.
They are in great condition, however, they do have battle scars from all theshows I have done over the years.

Both cabinets have chips, small tears in thevinyl, scratches, etc.
One cabinet has a large tear in the vinyl cover onthe back. This can be stretched and re-glued.
The grilles are in excellent shape.

All connections work perfectly.
The cabinets are stackable.These one-owner speakers come with the originalJBL owners manual.Old school JBL quality and awesome sound!

I purchased these great JBL speakers new atPortland Music in the early 1990\'s.

I only used these speakers for oldies DJ music,and live acoustic band performances.
