From a major east coast collector of Meiji silver and decorative arts, many pieces acquired in the 1970s and 1980s.

A single brilliantly cast and hand chased Japanese dragon covers the entire surface.

Set in streaming fire.

The artistically detailed head forms the spout!

The handle formed as part of the dragon\'s body.

Never monogrammed.

This rare Japanese dragon pitcher is 12 inches handle to spout and 7 tall and weighs 30 standard ounces.

Hallmarked as shown.

In very fine condition. Rich lusterous silver patina throughout. Interior clean. The dragon retains its original vibrant detail. Scattered tiny dints most to lower center.
