1968 Oakland A\'s JOE RUDI Custom Baseball Display \"Card That Could Have Been\"
These cards feature players that were not accurately represented in the \"real\" 1968 Topps set. Some were not shown on their correct team. Some were shown on their correct team but pictured in a previous team\'s uniform. Some started the season on one team but played most of the season on another team. Some were highly rated rookies who should have had a full sized card but only shared space on a multi-player rookie card. And some were veterans who, for whatever reason, simply did not have a card at all.
Joe Rudi was one of Oakland\'s most highly rated rookies in 1968, but for whatever reason, he did not appear on a card in the \"real\" 1968 Topps set.
Though they resemble the \"real\" 1968 Topps cards, they are not intended to be exact replicas. The are standard size at approximately 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches but they are slightly thicker and the backs are blank white. They also have several minor cosmetic differences and different pictures are used. These cards are NOT mass produced. Every card is made by hand.
