Also included is a new biography of John Illig by Jane Shadel Spillman, former Curator of American Glass at the Corning Museum of Glass. John Illig started his own firm in 1912 and produced of the finest copper wheel engraved glass known until 1924 when his firm closed. His works are elusive and sought after today.
