This lovelynative American girl is \"America\" from the 1960\'s \"LittleInternationals Series. America ispictured on page 35 in the pink book, \"Josef Originals, CharmingFigurines\" and on page 35 in the beige book, \"Josef Originals, 3rdEdition\".

America isdressed in a light tan, buckskin dress with tiers of fringe and wide sleeveswith more fringe on them. There is a lotof shiny, 24 karat gold on this figurine that makes her sparkle and shine! Her dress is decorated with shiny, goldspaghetti trim balls in the front. Thereare shiny gold accents on her neckline, necklace, headband, feather and hairties. She is wearing a necklace with redand gold beads and her headband is yellow-gold with a red & white featherin it. A golden shoe peeks out fromunderneath her skirts. She is holding aterra cotta bowl and a pestal and is mashing something, possibly white corn, init. America has jet black hair that islong and done in two braids. Her face isexpertly hand-painted with rosy cheeks, black eyes & eyelashes, delicateeyebrows and a cherry red mouth. She isa very beautiful piece!

America isin very good, vintage condition. She hada couple scrapes along the edge of her bowl and a couple on the bottom of herdress that I have touched up with matching paint and clear glaze and she looksjust fine now. She has a little brown mark on her forehead. She has the oval, black& gold \"Josef Originals foil sticker on the side in goodcondition. \"Josef Originals C\"is signed on the bottom in black ink. Americais approximately 4 1/2\" tall and 2 1/2\" wide and has a glossyglaze. Her colors are rich and vibrantand the glaze and gold gilt is bright and shiny. She is very scroll am listing severalfigurines from the Little Internationals series, including some really rareones, so please check out my other sales.You can save a lot on shipping costs if you buy more than one.
