This lovely lady is\"Japan\" from the Josef Originals \"Little Internationals\"Series. She is pictured on page 38 in the pink book, \"Josef Originals, CharmingFigurines\" and on page 38 in the beige book, \"Josef Originals, 3rdEdition\". Japan is one of the rarerones and quite hard to find. This Japanis in excellent, MINT, vintage condition!

Japan iswearing a beautiful, peachy-pink kimono with a light blue dressunderneath. She has a large, light bluesash and bows that tie at the back. Shehas lots of shiny, 24 karat gold accents.Her outfit is accented with gold lines along the edges of her robe,sleeves and the bow in the back. She hasglittering gold spaghetti type decorations in her hair on both sides. She is carrying a parasol of matchingpeachy-pink with shiny gold designs on it.She has shiny black hair and her face is exquisitely hand-painted with rosycheeks, black eyes & eyelashes, delicate eyebrows and a cherry red mouth. She is very sweet and precious.

Japan is in excellent, MINT vintage condition. I can find nothing at all wrong with her. She has the oval, black & silver\"Josef Originals\" foil sticker on the side. Some of the black has worn off of it, but it’sstill very readable. \"JosefOriginals C\" is clearly inscribed in the clay on the bottom of thepiece. Japan is approximately 41/4\" tall and 2\" wide and has a glossy glaze. Her colors are rich and vibrant and the glazeand gold gilt are bright and shiny.She\'s a very lovely little lady. scroll am listing severalfigurines from the Little Internationals series, including some really rareones, so please check out my other sales.You can save a lot on shipping costs if you buy more than one.
