Up for offer is an exquisite 9\" sterling silver spice tower made in Poland in 1872. The tower is solid with a pennant at the top and is 4 3/8\" high. The square filigree box has a solid hinged door with a handle that latches. Each corner of the box has a pennant on top and a bell hanging from each corner on the bottom. The box is 1 3/4\" high and sits atop a pedestal base which is 2 7/8\" high and 2 3/8\" square. There are makers marks on the base as well as the door.
It weighs4 ½ ounces or 127.573 grams.This item is in excellent condition. It was purchased in France in 1967.
