The Katzenjammer Kids
Unique antique doll that was found in an estate. We believe it is The Katzenjammer Kids...a comic strip that debuted in 1897. The clothing does not easily come off...the pants look they are stitched on, without any fastener. He is wearing blue pants that are attached to a white shirt in the front. He also has another white garment under the shirt. He also has a white striped jacket with silver rick-rack that matches the attached collar. The collar has a dark blue \'rose\' that needs to have a few stitches fixed to repair it. The clothing is in pretty good condition, but is old - no rips or stains.The black boots and hands seem to be composition, or something similar. There is a little bit of wear on them - the left index finer has a small chip. The boots just have a little bit of paint loss. The entire body seems to be made of metal - has joints at the wrists, elbows, shoulders, hips, knees and ankles. The heads also remove and can be changed. The black hair head has some paint loss, and a dark spot over his left eye. The blonde has a small chip on his right ear and his nose...there is also a rough spot in a seam under his left ear.
