A beautiful Russian Lacquer by the spectacular Khouli artist Dontsova. The subject of this box is of a mermaid and dolphins. On the outer shell of the abalone shell which the lid of the box is painted on
a mermaid has her hand out holding a abalone shell. Other creatures are around her. On the inner shell of the box dolphins are moving together and jelly fish. Mother of pearl is incorporated in the box.
The size of the box is 8.5 X 5 X 3 ( 22 x 13 x 8 ). White patches are from the camera\'s light reflection.
