Santa is completely handmade ... in my overloaded Connecticut Christmas Workshop.... No patterns are ever used on Any of My Items... so that each of my Santas have their own Unique & Happy... \"Kim\'s Klaus\" appearance... Creating out of the box & UN-ordinary items defines my work & keeps me inspired~
This little Fella has a face that has been thoughtfully handmade out of clay with aged & hand painted facial features -giving this Merry man his one of a kind Elfin expression of profound happiness...
SaNta Is dressed in an aged Antique 1800\'s creamy cotton Coat & pants...The fabric was from an Old Quilt...about 150 years old & not perfect...which adds to his time worn charm...a droopy brass jingle belled tipped hat...embellished with sparse antique tinsel garland rests on his head & aged vintage wool has been hand sewn on for trim.... he has handmade-painted clay mittens & boots...His scruffy beard is antique cotton.....This shrimpy Guy... stands about 10 inches high ...including the rough cut... antique wood base...The wooden base is 6-ish inches long & 4-ish inches wide...
He is a peaceful Old Soul...& carries a vintage red based bottle brush tree & grasps a handmade antique fabric red stocking...it is stuffed with some handmade Skinny candy canes & \"Dec.25\" has been very primitively sewn upon it...Slung across him is a handmade antique fabric sack...held shut with a brass jingle bell...tiny vintage buttons secure the sack straps..a leather strip belt is around his waist & a little lamb & a wire-antique glass bead & tinsel garland ornament hang from it...
Never too Early For Santa....around here!!!
He is signed on the bottom of the wooden base & will come with a signed & dated handmade hang tag
