This is an incunabula leaf fromthe \"Biblia Cum Postillis\" which was a Latin vulgateBible in four volumes. The famous Anton Koberger printed thisedition on April 12, 1493 in Nuremberg Germany. The small foliosize leaves measure 293 x 205 mm. in totality and contains 65-linesof Gothic type commentary on the Book of Job by the noted medievaltheologian Nicholas de Lyra printed double column on paper inLatin. The leaf also contains, three line versal letters in redwith versal indents and guide letters. There is copious rubricationthroughout the text as well as ornate flourishes. The versocontains the same amount of lines and type. (Hain 3170, Proctor2083, GW 4293, Oates 1025) This leaf contains minor staining.
