Krewe of Moslem vintage New Orleans Mardi Gras pilsner shape toasting glass from 1953.

This was possibly a favor given at their Carnival Ball.

On the front is the insignia, name and date...February 14, 1953.

On the back are future Mardi Gras dates listing from 1954 to 1963.

Glass measures 8 1/8\" high and 2 7/8\" diameter at the opening and at the base. There is a small bump along the top rim of the glass...a factory defect. Please remember this glass was not of high quality.

No loss of paint. Glass is clear, not cloudy. No chips or cracks. Appears never to have been used.

I was unable to find out any information on this krewe\'s history.

Nice for any collection.

I do have more of this same glass that I will be listing in the coming weeks....can make a nice set, if you like.
