This a LARGE stunning 100% Wool Handmade/Knotted Quality Rug.The rug has a lovely fluffy soft pile and design inspired by traditional french Aubusson, known to be fashionable with th Royals in the 17th and 18th century. In a beautiful blue, which borders between a deep sky blue and cornflower blue the colour is brought to life by beautiful relief carved floral design in pinks, browns and whites, etc. The rug will add warmth to any traditional or modern room.It could even be hung on the wall as a tapestry, to create a sumptuous setting. Or if you wanted a more knotted look you could use it upsidedown.This is a quality Indian made rug and weighs around 23kg, hence higher than usual postage. The rug is in very good condition and has just been cleaned.
