Up for your consideration is thiswonderful hand painted porcelain Limoges box from Porcelaine Pierre Arquie (PPA).This lovely box is a miniature replica of anantique French country salt cellar. It is painted pale blue in a primitive style withbeautiful roses and garlands of flowers. A label in front reads \'SEL\', French for salt. The backing is pierced with a small roundhole.Inside is a painting of a whale in the sea. The clasp is a round button. Signed: Peint Main Limoges France PPA & is initialed by the artist.

Measures: 1 1/8\" x 1 1/8\" x 1 5/8\"
