Lladro, 01008020ORIENTAL MOONis used but is in PerfectCondition. This is of a Geisha woman standing by a bridge at night. This is alarge, very detailed, stunning piece and a great collector’s item. This work oforiental inspiration captures an idyllic scene with a lady strolling through agarden. Particularly noteworthy is the litophany achieved in the moon, anartistic technique used to obtain an effect of transparency on the porcelain.Seen against the light, the moon shows areas of chiaroscuro resembling itscraters. Please feel free to contact me for additional information. It has onlysat in a curio cabinet, it has no marks, no chips, no cracks, no scratches, norepairs and no crazing. It does come in its original box. Original box does show signs of wear. Thispiece is very fragile with lots of delicate flowers. It needs its original boxfor storing and shipping, it is packed in a very specific manner and will bedouble boxed for shipping.
