LOVELY AMERICAN GREEN GLASS & SILVER CRUET/DECANTER BOTTLE

Presented is a beautiful American green glass and sterling silver decanter. The glass of the bottle is very skillfully made, with green shading into clear glass at the bottom. The handle is also made of clear glass, and is applied. The neck of the bottle is covered in a silver collar, with an attractive beaded design at the top and bottom. The stopper is clear glass, with finely engraved silver overlay. This bottle is of an appropriate size to be used as a cruet or a small decanter. It would also be lovely simply as a display piece, especially in front of a window so the light can shine through.

This piece is hallmarked on the silver collar above the handle, with \'sterling\' and a maker\'s mark we think may be for Porter Blanchard.

This piece is in great condition. The glass has no chips, no cracks, and no discolorations. The silver has no splits or repairs. In our opinion the stopper is not original, but it fits absolutely perfectly, and matches well visually.

The bottle is approximately 8 5/8 inches tall, with the stopper.
