Description A lovely English antiqueVictoriansolid sterling silvercurb-link doublealbert pocket watch chainby the silversmiths Payton, Pepper & Co - (1887-1895)and with English silver hallmarksfor Birmingham 1888.Good quality genuine129 year oldexample, witha silver t-bar and a secure silver swivel/dog catch and has a large centre ring allowing the chain length to be altered as required. Attached are 2 genuine Queen Victoria solid silver three-pence coin fobs dated 1887 and 1889. Nice heavysilver weight approx 38grams, (total).

Measurements Measures approx 14.75 inches (375mm)end to end, excluding the coin.

Date English antique Victorian solid sterling silver, with silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1888(date letter \"o\") on the t-bar; the swivel/dog catch is hallmarked Birmingham 1913, date letter \"o\".There are rubbed lion passant silver hallmark stamps on all of the chain links and the 1887 & 1889 Victorian three-pence coins are both genuine and 100% sterling silver.

Maker Silversmiths initials \"P.P & Co\", (Payton, Pepper & Co - 1887-1895), stamped on the t-bar; the swivel catch is stamped \"H.A & S\".

ConditionGood condition,no splits or solder repairs, and with just normal agewear on the chain links. Theswivel/dog catch works perfectly and the spring is still strong.
