Description A beautifulEnglish antiqueEdwardiansolid sterling silvergraduating curb-linkalbert pocket watch chainby the silversmith Henry Popeand with English silver hallmarksfor Birmingham 1905.Excellentquality111 year oldexample, with handsome tight silver chain links and a silver t-bar and secure silver swivel/dog catch. Attached isa genuine antique English King George V 1912 half penny coin fob.Nice heavy weight,approx 39grams(total).

Measurements Measures approx 11.8 inches (297mm) in length,with a further 1.25 inches on the fob chain. The centre chain link measures 8mm wide.

Date English antique Edwardian solid sterling silver, with silver hallmarks forBirmingham 1905(date letter \"f\") on theswivel/dog catch; the hallmarks on the t-bar are rubbed but does have the date letter \"e\" for Birmingham 1904. There are rubbed lion passant silver hallmark stamps on the chain links too.

Maker Silversmiths initials \"H.P\", (Henry Pope), stamped on the swivel catch.

ConditionLovely condition,no splits or solder repairs, and with just normal minor agewear on the chain links. The swivel/dog catch is in perfect working order, opening and closing securely and has a strong spring. The attached coin fob is genuine. A very nice example with a goodsilver weight.
