THIS IS A WONDERFUL VERYOLD

HAND MADE NAVAJO,STERLING TURQUOISE RING

WITH LOTS OF HISTORY!!

The ring is not ornate, however it is just beautiful in

its simplicity and self evident age and hand working.

This piece belonged to my grandmother.

My grandmother adored the Native American culture.

She traveled the Southwest for many years and

collected her beloved turquoise jewelry.

She passed away in 1990 and I then became the

grateful recipient of this particular ring.

My guess is she obtained it sometime in the 1950\"s

and she wore this ring for as long as I can remember.

When looking at the ring you can definately see in it

the many years of loving wear.

Some of the stamping on the sides of the bezel have

been worn smooth and after years of wear the top of the

stonehas been buffed, revealing a lighter green deeper layer.

Other than these signs of age the ring is in solid shape

with a firmly secured stone.

This is truly a lovely old Navajo ring with plenty

of history behind it!
