Iusually list books but this sale if for a pair ofLa Belle bookends. They are NOT MARKED but in researching theinternet appear to be from the 1920’s.They are about 5 ¾” high and 2 ½” x 2 ¾” at the base/bottom of skirt. They weigh about 2 pounds each and have somewhat of a patina with places where the original finish is worn away. Thelady’s skirt is hollow. I acquired themat an estate tag sale, where the Lady had several antiques. These bookends are of a lady with a servingtray with two items on it. I believe shewas the Baker Company’s motto or sales image in their ads. The pictures were taken with a scanner whichI use for books. They will be about 5 pounds when wrapped.
Condition: Good. The hollow skirt on the inside showssome rust?. The green felt on the bottomis starting to come off and show rust underneath. The original finish is worn in places. Theend of the Lady’s nose is worn.
