Love these! Six demitasse Irish coffee cups designed by Calif. School of Art professor, La Gardo Tackett (1911-1992) for Schmid Porcelain International. He was a major player in the early L.A. modernist movement. These fabulous cups and saucers possess Tackett\'s trademark minimal sculptural design sensibilities ...but with a great sense of fun! Wonderful shamrocks decorate bright white porcelain cups with beautiful kelly green and white saucers. The cup measures 4 1/4\" tall x 1 3/4\" wide...the saucers 4\" round x 3/4\" tall.
