This is a large size vintage beveled glass and 24kt gold plated metal ormolu jewelry casket or box. It has the original label attached to the lid which says \"GLOBE 24kt Gold Plated Guaranteed Nontarnishable\" The four sides and lid are all beveled glass. The metal ormalu is elaborately cast with floral decoration. It has a strong metal hinge and four legs with scrolled feet. The inside base is quilted tan fabric which has some signs of wear, otherwise everything is in excellent condition. The sides measure 5\" square. It measures about 4\" tall and 6 1/2\" from corner to corner.
