A large antique Norwegian solid 830 silver spoon by Marius Hammer of Bergen, fully marked, and dating to around the late 19th / early 20th century.

The large serving type spoon has an ovoid bowl, a twist stem within bladed knops, and an upturned finial with a hand chased foliate scroll design within wriggle work borders on a frosted ground. The rear of the finial carries the \'M.HAMMER / 830S\' silver mark - please see photos and click to enlarge.

Size : Approx 11 5/8\" / 29.5cm long, 95.9 grams.

Condition : Good antique condition with no damage or restoration, light surface marks commensurate with age - please see all photos & click to enlarge.
