We are offering for sale an imposing Art Nouveau silver 2-handled cup that could either be used for presenting wine or as an impressive trophy cup.

This large cup has twosinuous, loopinghandles with a bi-furcated upper junction - all in typical swirling Art Nouveau style. The round body is segmented in to 4 sections and the whole stands on a stepped, pedestal foot.

The cup would be idealas a centrepiece on a sideboard or cabinet and for presenting chilledchampagne or wine at the dinner table. It could also be used as a presentation or trophy cup; benefits from having no engravings and ismade from a good thickness of silver - consequently it also has a good hefty weight.

MARKS: Full set of English hallmarks (guaranteeing Sterling 925 standard silver) for Sheffield 1911, made by Fattorini & Sons Ltd.

CONDITION: Excellent polished condition. Neither damage nor repairs and no engraved inscriptions.
