Stunning large antique turned wooden bowl
In a richly grained elm or ash wood, the bowl is beautifully patinated as I hope you can see
Inlaid roundel in the base and a spot and block detail around the rim
Turned with tactile ribs around the exterior, this really is a beautiful centerpiece
Some shrinkage apparent around the roundel and a couple of the rim detail as you would expect
but no cracks or losses
Measures 4.5\" high and 12.5\" in diameter (11.5cm and 32cm)
Craftsman has signed the bowl with impressed initials JB and M
Dating from the late C19th or early C20th
