Stunning & Elegant Brass Persian/Islamic Ewer or Pitcher with Arabic writing & engraving,
Measures 14\" tall (36 cm).
Engraved with a drawing which looks like a male with spear fighting a Dragon protecting goat/sheep.
Arabic writings on reverse,
Copper rivets attaching handle to neck below lid.
Some light blemishes & a couple of scratches/knocks to base.
Exact age unknown but I have found another similar on Rubylane site dated 19thC
