This is a beautifulvintage framed Navajo Native Plant Dye Source Chart With 14 Plants that have been used for centuries by the Navajo to dye the wool they use to make their very exquisite and Valuable Rugs. This was made by Vera Lee Yazzie a number of years ago and held for sale at a trading post in Zuni. I was able to purchase this at a reasonable price so you can now own it. In the center is a wool woven rug sample surrounded by 15 native plants that provide the natural dye for the rug colors. The dried plants include:
