Large Royal Doulton Lambeth Stoneware Pitcher Hunting And Harvest Scenes Ca 1900:
Hard to find, large sized stoneware jug or pitcher made by The Royal Doulton, Lambeth, London factory, very early in the 20th century, in the Edwardian period.
The jug has a moulded shape with a ribbed loop handle and ribbing around the top rim. It is from Doultons Hunting ware Earthenware range with a dark brown glaze to the top section shaded to a tan ground lower section decorated with an applied relief molded hunting and harvest scenes in cream.
The jug is marked on the base with the Royal Doulton - Lambeth 4284 and stands 19cm high x 16cm in diameterWeight is a good 1.23kg
