Has wear fromNative American use! This rug was not purchased in a tourist shop!
This rug was given to a family member by a Native American who was a Friend of our family in the mid 1900s (i have been ask to elaborate a little on this comment)
\"My family settled in the Lost River Valley in Idaho in 1880. In the late 1890s into the 1900s some of the Lemhi Shoshone Native Americans would come and hunt in the Lost River Valley for deer, antelope, elk and moose. One of my incredible uncles took a liking to one of the young Lemhi maidens.But, one of the Lemhi fathers that followed Chief Tendoy didn\'t take to the union of my uncle and the young maiden. My uncle became close friends with the young braves of the Lemhis and other Shoshone Indians. He later went to Montana and broke broncs for the cavalry. He became friends with the great western artist, Charles Russell. My uncles adventures were many. He became friends with many Native Americans from the northwest and the southwest. He was a true cowboy of the old west. He was in his late 80s when he passed away in the 1970s.\" He never made the honor of being placed into the \"Cow Boy Hall of Fame\" in Oklahoma, but he was considered a possible candidate at his passing!\"
