Vintage Bronze/Brass Radio Faceplate ~ Unknown,All Original est. 1930s/early 1940s

Offered todayfor your review is an Unknown but Original Radio Faceplate est. circa. 1930’searly 1940’s. Looking at the faceplate this appears to be made of either Bronzeor Brass but I can’t confirm. I can tell you that it is not magnetic and thefront has a dark brown finish. This looks to be a faceplate for a large consoleradio. (If anyone could please help me in identifying this piece, pleasecontact me through , which I’d appreciate).

There are no cracks,splitsor surprises to the faceplate. The upper area has a glass lens, which is inperfect condition with no chips or scratches. The lower circle area does nothave a lens, nor do I know if it originally did. The back gasket is all therebut shows age, which is to be expected. The faceplate measures: 8-1/8” High x6-1/8” Wide at its widest point. The inside diameter of the lower area is4-5/8”. Overall this is in very good condition considering its age and sadly thereare no markings that I can find.

Hopefullythis faceplate will find its way to the right radio to complete yourrestoration project.
