This larger Windsor Bowl, also sold as Royal Brighton, was most likely made by Indiana Glass Company. According to my reference book: In the early 80\'s Indiana\'s parent company purchased Federal Glass Co.including their Windsor molds. Indiana Glass produced Windsor using the Federal molds in the early 80\'s. Some was sold as Windsor, some as Royal Brighton and some were sold with no \"pattern\" name. This substantial bowl stands about 4 inches high and is about 10 3/8 inches across the top. The circular base is about 4 5/8 inches in diameter.

This bowl is in very good condition. I assume it has been used in the past but if so, very lightly used. I found no chips, flakes, cracks or \"bites\" on the piece. The only evidence of \"wear\" I see is on the base \"ring\" which is to be expected as the piece has been resting on that \"ring\" for some 30 years or so (had to hold it up to the light to see it).

I typically ship via USPS Parcel Select as it is generally the least costly means I have found however I do check alternative means of shipping once I have the new owners zip code. Proximity and weight can sometimes make other shipping means more practical. I may use shipping other than USPS (FedEx/UPS) if it appears to be more advantageous for the new owner. Priority Regional Mail is also checked for those within my Postal Service Zone. In the event of multiple purchases items are routinely combined to minimize shipping costs when it appears that items can safely be shipped together.
