Super antique Victorian ring, done in 14k yellow gold, with a large flat oval onyx stone, bezel set into a highly carved mounting with beading, etching and a feather chevron design. Not marked, tested to be 14k. Measures a finger size 6.25. Onyx is large at app. 17 x 10 mm in size, with a large high polished oval frame. The mounting has lovely detailing with a lot of gold underneath with a thick underside. Under magnification, the onyx looks good; some flea bites/abrasions on the edge, light scratches on the top but faces up nicely; the gold shows minimal wear for its age. Please ask questions.
