DESCRIPTION: Here measuring 2 3/4\" x 4 1/4\" is this larger than a 1/6 plate tintype but not quite a 1/4 plate. It pictures a beautiful young woman that appears to be Native American. She has strong features that point in that direction. Or could she be Hispanic?
She wears some stylish Victorian necklaces and is wearing a late 1870\'s style dress. There is a double strand of beads or seed pearls around her neck. Slight tint to cheeks. Her hair is swept up with some decorative headdress incorporated.
This is from the Northeast US---New York state possibly.
