This sale is for one piece of original comic art by the artist Larry Whittington - It is a 8 panel page done in India Ink and ink wash and measures a large 10.5 by 15 inches. It is clean with light age to margins - see images. Whittington has written name and address at rear. It is done on art board and signed at lower right front. There is a fairly detailed biography below written by the great comic strip aficionado Alex Jay. Whittington\'s originals are rare with only a few known in collections. I was told a long time ago that after Whittington\'s premature death ( he was hit by a car) most of his art was thrown out.
