You are offerding on a very rare and beautiful piece of Goebel art. It is a figurine by the artist Laszlo Ispanky who has worked for both Goebel and Cybis. The figurine is from the Greek line that was done for Goebel and represents Icarus in flight. The detail on the piece is fantastic and you can see the contour of all the muscles and a pained expression of the face of Icarus. The piece is done in white all over and has an extremely soft and smooth finish. The piece is numbered 101 out of 350. The bottom bears the Goebel seal, number, and artists name. The piece is also signed with a raised mark on the base.
