Up for sale is this wonderful and extremely rare brass spherical glass encased Jaeger LeCoultre Swiss made desk clock. The 17 jewel winding clock, in working condition, was designed by famed clock maker Jules Sandoz. Measures about 5 1/4 inches tall with 2 1/2 inch diameter swiveling spherical ball clock top. Has Roman numeral numbers on an exterior edged dial with gold star in between each number. Black minute and hour hands and red second hand. Has open escapement on both sides. Seems to be in nice working condition with no dents, chips, cracks to either metal or glass. No scratches on glass and only very minor scratches to brass (this is extremely minor and only mentioned for complete accuracy!). Metal exhibits a great vintage patina!Marked on the dial \"JAEGER LECOULTRE SWIsS MADE\". Marked on the rear brass works \"SANDOXZ 17 SEVENTEEN JEWELS SWISS\". Other numerical marking on works themselves, presumably for adjustment purposes. A great and extremely rare piece in nice shape offered with !!
