I am pleased to offer this outstanding 1952 vintage original camera bundle for your consideration. It includes a Leica IIf Red Dial 35mm rangefinder camera body, a low serial number \"radioactive\" Leitz Summicron 5cm f2 lens. and accessories.
It has been in one family since new. I purchased it from the son of the original owner. It has been safely stored in a dry climate for decades.
The condition is superb; it shows few signs of use. The body is free of scratches or damage. The lens elements have yellowed as is typical, light haze only visible when a bright light is shined through. The overall clarity and scratch-free front element are rare to find on early Summicron lenses.
Functionally, it does show signs of its age and long term storage. It needs CLA at least. It is not usable as it is. The primary issues are that the shutter sticks, and the aperture control is very stiff.
