Large, antique Chinese pewter covered dish - circa mid to late 19th century.
The body and lid\'s rim are mounted with a brass ring being that is meant to protect the soft edges
The lid is applied with an elaborate leaf & acorn decor done in pewter and mounted with genuine jadeite and agate - it is signed by the maker inside the lid.
Very good condition for the age - small dent at the base - no repairs or losses - please view detailed pictures.
It measures 22 cm in diameter x 12 cm tall - considerable weight at 2450 grams.
