An absolutely wonderful and surprisingly unexpected autumn New England panorama by noted author Kathryn Nason of Belmont, Massachusetts. The large painting is appropriately titled \"Haystacks\" and presents the rural new England countryside in a somewhat different perspective. The painting has a very mid-century feel to it and features lots of orange color. The slightly rustic frame which measures about 37 x 30 inches perfectly complements this special painting. This is one of the nicest and richest examples of Nason\'s diverse work that I have encountered. The artist has an interesting bio, including being married to the famous Boston composer Walter Piston. The painting comes from a Pasadena Estate and is in excellent condition.
