Description: The Lladro Figurine \"Shall I Read You a Story?\" is 7\" long, 3.5\" wide, 4\" high\". It was handmade in Spain, 2003. The figurine is in good condition except for the foot and resides in the original box. The foot of the boy was chipped in a fall.(See photos).
When positioned on a shelf or table, the missing porcelain piece on the top of the foot is hardly visible because the underlying porcelain is the same color as the main porcelain. Otherwise, the figurine is in excellent condition. If it weren\'t for the foot, this Llardo could sell for between $300-$400.
The boy is relaxing on a pillow with a book while his light brown and white dog gazes in the boy\'s face. All the colors on the statue are muted. The boy\'s clothing is a very light blue. His hair is muted blue/grey. The book is white and light pink.
The markings on the bottom of the figurine state: \"LLARDO, 8MM55, Handmade in SPAIN, 2003, No.3 in a diamond, some engravings that cannot be deciphered, and a circle with 19704.\" The Llardo figurine has the \"Assurance Program\" booklet attached to the lid of the box.
