This sale is forabeautiful porcelain figurine by Lladro called Galloping Horses. The piecedepicts two majestic horses in full stride, each vying to outrace the other. One horse is white and the other is a pale grey. This is a large pieceas can be seen on picture three where it measures almost 12\" tall. Galloping Horses is very rarely offered for sale.

All Lladro is hand painted (other than white bisque). This figurine is finished inthe lovely Lladro clear, high gloss glaze.This piece was discontinued in 2000 and is now available only onthe secondary market. Lladro is usually bought for its beauty but it is also a great investment. This is especially true ofretired pieces - they increase in value each year.

There is a small stress fracture on a branch, a manufacturing flaw- see picture. (A stressfracture is causedby thehigh temperatures of thekiln during thecleargloss firing- the fracture is glazed over and can not befelt.) There are some pin point discolorations - again, manufacturing flaws. There are no cracks, scratches, repairs or loss.

I do not have the box for this piece. I do not knowits history other than I bought itat a Kodak executive\'s estate sale in Philadelphia.

The retail value of thisretired piece is $975.00.

I have inspected this piece thoroughly and other than what is mentioned above, it has nothing additional to mention - no chips, cracks,crazing,loss or restoration.It is in excellent condition. Ido not havethe box for this piece anddo not knowits history.
