For your consideration:

For sale is a Lladro #1001 \"Shepherdess\". Believed to be one of the first editions Lladro made. Later editions production changes were made to the piece. The newer ones have a different head scarf, less fragile, and the newer ones are marked with a number 1001. This one does not have the number & has the older head scarf. The Lladro stamp also dates this to 1976 and earlier.

This figurine with a potential flaw- in perfection or loss is on the back of the head scarf as pictured. All the ones I found have the same issue.

The original box is not included. It measures approximately 9 1/2 inches tall and 8 inches across.
