Rare Lladro Spain porcelain “Mexican Dancers” figure, #5415.

Sculpted by Regino Torrijos. First issued in 1987 and retired in 2005.

Measures (approx) 12.25” x 10.25”.

Rare “Matte” finish accentuates the already lifelike figures. A true classic from the world’s greatest art porcelain company.

Has gold “Frasquet” sticker on bottom. This piece was purchased at Frasquet in Spain.

Condition

Outstanding condition overall. There are flowers missing from the female dancer’s hair, which happened several years back and the flowers have gone missing. This figure was never dropped, the maid was gently cleaning it but did not realize how delicate the flowers are. There are several companies that will restore damaged Lladro flowers, it is not too expensive to get the genuine flowers back in place, and a very routine thing to have done.

The figures are clean but there is some discoloration in a few spots, such as the top of the male dancer’s hat. We have read that using a magic eraser, you can restore the color to its original state, but we do not do any restoration work in-house for art porcelain. No cracks, chips, or repairs.
