A WONDERFUL AND VERY RARE ESTATE JEWEL - A VICTORIAN ENAMEL ENGRAVED LOCKET OF GREAT QUALITY WITH STUNNING BLACK AND BLUE ENAMEL IN A WONDERFUL ENGRAVED 12K GOLD LOCKET - A SPECIAL PIECE DATING TO C1880

This pendant locket has all the elements of a great gem. It is so hard to find these eminently wearable Victorian jewels of this quality! This is a very rare and special piece. The gorgeous early Victorian locket has the most wonderful design in black and blue enamel with lovely engraving. The reverse has a wonderful engraved design. It opens to reveal places for 2 photos.

The style of this piece is the very best and hanging from a chain around the neck it would be divine! The locket is solid 12K gold. It is so perfect, so romantic, so highly collectible, so wearable!

The pendant locket dates to the Victorian period c1860-1880. The design is clearly the work of a master craftsman.

The locket is in excellent condition. The enamel is in very fine condition with really no loss that I can see - please see photos. The reverse side has some slight indentation. The locket tests for 12K gold. The locket is 1 inch (26 mm) tall not including the bales. It is 3/4 inch wide. The locket weighs 3.0 grams.
