This basket is beautiful and in near mint condition. There is no fading to the weaving or the braided leather trim strip as it has been stored in a temperature controlled Environment more than displayed. There are no broken weaves or splints on the lid or the basket. There is no scuffing. The protector has a 1/4\" chip on one corner. It is barely noticeable. I did take an extreme closeup of that damage. It truly is one of the most beautiful and remarkable baskets Longaberger has ever woven with this stairstep weaving and with the embossed sentiment from Tami and Rachel. Along with the fact that it was created in tribute to Longaberger Founder, Dave Longaberger, it is a must own piece for any collector.
