This rare Longaberger looks just like a festive Christmas package, with a decorative solid wood lid.The Longaberger Company was an American manufacturer and distributor of handcrafted maple wood baskets and other home and lifestyle products. It closed the Homestead in May, but still has available baskets in a new Dresden location. Basket makers made these baskets one at a time, and by hand, just as they were made over 100 years ago.
