This usefully-sized basket with a square bottom and round top features purple chain weave and tack strip on the top band

Grandma Bonnie Longaberger, mother to Dave Longaberger and his 11 siblings, was honored with the May Series, a collection of baskets commemorating her favorite flowers

The rare Pansy Basket was 3rd in a series of 14 May Baskets spanning 1990 through 2008

Round Pansy Basket has two leather loop \"ears\". The beautifully-detailed fabric liner with purple and white pansies stands up with a self-fabric bias ruffle and needs the plastic protector to hold it up

Basket and plastic protector were displayed briefly and are in great condition; Fabric liner has a few places on the ruffle that are lightly colored--I tried taking a picture of a faint orange-ish spot, but had trouble capturing it. I would recommend washing the liner in cold water and stretching it to dry over the plastic protector. This has already been calculated in the cost of this set.
