Movement:Elgin\'s fabulous 559, 21 Jewel, manually wound movement. Fairly clean and running strong. Watch winds very smoothly, time sets very smoothly, and currently running well +/- 30 seconds to a minute per day. Could do well with a service.
Dial:Fabulous gold tone dial, with painted track and Roman Numerals at 12, 3, 6, and 9. Applied round dot indices at 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10, 11. Note some slight corrosion around the applied indices.
Hands:Solid gold stick hands, and sub seconds gold hand.
Case:Beautiful solid 14K yellow gold, with stepped lugs and classic rectangular shape. Some grime build up around the lugs, case edges, and crystal edges.
Band:Generic brand new black leather band.
Crystal:Appears to be the original acrylic crystal, though I cannot confirm, looks good for age, with minor hazing and scuff marks from general wear.
Description:Beautiful Lord Elgin vintage wrist watch, on brand new leather band. This strong winding and well running Lord Elgin is cased in a fabulous vintage solid 14K yellow gold case. Note some grime around the case however.
This Lord Elgin comes with adelectableset of stepped lugs that looks so classy. Dial is a yellow gold with sub seconds at 6 o\'clock, and a painted track with Roman Numerals.
