Lot of 3 Antique German Books

Each Over 100 Years Old

Here is a lot of three very old books in the German Language. The lot includes the following:

Auf der Sonnenseite – Bernhardt - Heath’s Modern Language Series. Title page states: Boston, U.S.A., D. C. Heath & Co., Publishers 1904. There is an inscription on the first page and puckering on the inside cover. There is a tiny sticker on the inside of the back cover which states: “Wm. Foster Brown Booksellers and Stationers, Montreal.” Book measures 4 ¼ wide by 6 ¼ inches high. The cover and binding have some corner and edge wear and there are some small scuffs on the back cover as well as overall darkening of the cover. All pages are intact although the pages in the middle of the book lie ‘flat” as they are split at the binding. The edges of the pages have darkened a bit from age and they may be a bit fragile since the book is so old.

Hauff’s Lichtenstein – Frank Vogel. Title page states: Boston, U.S.A., D. C. Heath & Co., Publishers 1909. There is an inscription on the first page. Book measures 7 inches high by 5 inches wide. The cover and binding have some corner and edge wear. All pages are intact and are very slightly yellowed from age.

Die drei Getreuen von Gustav Frenssen. Title page states: Berlin 1900. Book measures 6 ¾ inches high by 5 inches wide. The cover and binding have some corner and edge wear and there is a tiny notch out of the bottom of some of the pages. No writing or tears. All pages are intact but have yellowed slightly from age. There is a tiny sticker on the inside of the back cover which states: “K.F.K. – B.S.”

I have tried to list any blemishes that I noticed although they are all great books which are in very good condition for being over 100 years old.

The package will be very heavy and will weigh between 3 and 4 pounds. Books can be shipped via Media Mail which has a longer shipping time but is much more affordable.
