Let me start by telling a little about my chickens. I\'m including about all I\'m intending to list so I can just paste on each listing. I am just a country farmer. my pens are home built nothing fancy. Started as just a keep kids busy project that has expanded into more eggs than we can handle so I\'ve decided to try to sell. I have six pens all are built to keep chickens separated. netting across top. my chickens have never been mixed with other breeds. my pens are approximately 24 feet in length with half covered by tin saying this because when it rains in excess my pens can get very muddy and the eggs get nasty therefore if this happens shipping could be delayed however I will notify the buyer and give option to wait or issue refund. I will gather the day of shipping and will ship fresh eggs. all eggs shipped will be no more than 2 days old. i gather eggs in the mid morning and aftenoons to hopefully not allow any eggs to sit overnight. All my chickens are less than 2 year old. each year i order new chicks to replace my aging hens and roosters. all my pens have automatic feeders that i keep filled with laying pellets. I also give a scoop of corn daily. water is changed ever other day with at least once a week vits added. I am not certified but the hatchery i purchase my chicks from comes with their ceritfication that the chickens i receive are.

My chickens include:

1. Golden campines. I have about 12 hens and 2 roosters. even though these chickens look small they are cosidered standard size chickens. lay small white eggs.

2. standard size white cochin. I have about 20 hens and 2 roosters. lay medium brown eggs.

3.speckled sussex. about 30 hens and 3 roosters. these chickens are like pets. eat out your hand very friendly. to be a large size chicken they lay medium brown eggs.

4. white leg horn. about 20 hens and 2 roosters. these are my best layers. lay large white eggs.

5. Buff laced polish. I have about 10 hens and 2 roosters. Excellent layers. Lay small white eggs.

6. Salmon faverolles. Have about 10 hens. 2 roosters. Excellent layers. Lay small light brown eggs.

as far as shipping i wrap each egg in bubble wrap leaving one end open i then place the eggs in large box with shredded paper. I will not combine shipping on multiple lots if purchased because i do not want to double stack the eggs which will most definately increase the risk of breaking. i will have all boxes labeled with fragile on sides and hatching eggs on top with shipping label. if you do not want your box labeled please let me know. i ship 6 days a week however my post office closes early on wed and sat. i ship every day because i have checked with the postal service and they keep packages moving 7 days a week even holidays therefore no packages are just sitting idal. I have also checked with the postal service and they will not do anything about damaged packages and egg breakage unlessthe package is insured. I have not offered insurance because they will only credit the purchase price and i\'m trying to keep this resonable. however with taking this into consideration i would hate for any buyer to receive a package with all eggs broke i will work with you to fix this issue if it occurs. i will always include extras to help counter this problem.

as far as egg fertility there is no way i can check this before shipping and far everything i have read up on a 50% hatch rate with shipped eggs is considered good. i can not be reponsible for individual incubating techniques. I\'ve read several listings on and nobody I\'ve seen guarantees hatch success or fertility. Please keep in mind just because an egg does not hatch does not automatically mean they are not fertile. With shipping eggs there is a great risk...postal handling possibility of X-ray package. Etc. im starting fresh here i would like to keep response positive. from looking at other listings they say leave response based on intact shipping and timely not fertility i would appreciate the same and i will leave postive response as soon as payment received.
